"Kajbumščak Trail" takes competitors along ancient paths along which Krapina's prehistoric man, our Dedek Kajbumščak, ran and walked 130 thousand years ago, searched for and invented tools, hunted cave bears, wolves, moose, deer, rhinoceroses, collected berries, and admired the views of Zagorje - a fairy tale in your hand. The race takes you from the valley of the winding Krapinčica River (170 m) along the undulating peaks of the surrounding hills all the way to the peaks of Strahinjčica (846 m), Brezovica (581 m) and back. The start and finish of all races are located directly below the Krapina Neanderthal finding site.
